A black lacquered sewing table from circa 1890. Manufactured in the Gründerzeit period (years of rapid Industrial Expansion in Germany at the end of the 19th century). The whole piece is veneered with walnut wood and was then lacquered with black lacquer. The body has two small drawers of which the bottom with a lock and key. Two legs make up the most of the piece which are wonderfully curved and column-like shaped. Perfect for sewing purposes or other similar usages. Manufactured in the Gründerzeit period. Wonderful black lacquer with stabile wood. Unique design.

Packaging and insurance

We sell high-quality and valuable furniture. Accordingly, we attach great importance to ensuring that the furniture reaches you undamaged. We wrap the furniture to protect the paint and the surface, enclose it with a thick bubble wrap and – for ultimate protection when delivered by courier – build an individual wooden box around the furniture, which absorbs even the strongest blows. In addition, our furniture is automatically insured worldwide.
