Handmade Baroque Casket from circa 2000 Original Materials

This charming Baroque casket has been made out of old veneer and was handcrafted in 2000 by a restorer of the Goethe Institute in Frankfurt am Main in Germany. The box is inlaid in walnut and plum, the little stars on the side are made of ebony. The pincushion is made of a wonderful red velvet. In the casket is another smaller box with a cover. The brass fittings are handcrafted. This carefully crafted piece is perfect for storing sewing kits or other little accoutrements.

Packaging and insurance

We sell high-quality and valuable furniture. Accordingly, we attach great importance to ensuring that the furniture reaches you undamaged. We wrap the furniture to protect the paint and the surface, enclose it with a thick bubble wrap and – for ultimate protection when delivered by courier – build an individual wooden box around the furniture, which absorbs even the strongest blows. In addition, our furniture is automatically insured worldwide.
