Stunning 1920s Art Deco commode from France with an outstanding walnut burl wood front. The front veneer features a wonderful graining with an even more amazing dark brown to red color. This unique single piece was rescued from a demolished hotel in Paris and restored by our joiners to perfection. A beautiful item of the Art Deco era made out of luxurious and high-end walnut wood. It offers storage space in four central drawers and on two shelves behind the outer doors. The drawers are elegantly curved and get complemented by the also curved and finely crafted french feet. Additionally, the top plate and side panels are finished with our signature high gloss black piano lacquer. A great piece of original Art Deco furniture from the 1920s.

Packaging and insurance

We sell high-quality and valuable furniture. Accordingly, we attach great importance to ensuring that the furniture reaches you undamaged. We wrap the furniture to protect the paint and the surface, enclose it with a thick bubble wrap and – for ultimate protection when delivered by courier – build an individual wooden box around the furniture, which absorbs even the strongest blows. In addition, our furniture is automatically insured worldwide.
