A high gloss design console table with Macassar wood drawers and piano lacquer.
This unique piece of furniture consists of nine drawers veneered with Macassar wood. The handles are made of chrome. Piano lacquer accentuates the Macassar and covers the table top, as well as the whole foot. This foot is built in a curved, almost floral style and brings the perfect diversity in the otherwise so strictly linear piece of furniture. The piano lacquer was polished by hand to a high gloss.
The combination of Macassar wood and piano lacquer is very common in the Art Deco style and creates a warm, diversified furniture. This piece is a replica of Art Deco Period furniture and hits the heart of this era by using recurring elements of this time.
